Cao Di, from the class of 2004
Cao Di, from the class of 2004, went to study at University of Strathclyde in 2006 and obtained a doctoral degree. He currently works at the College of Computer Science & Technology, Zhejiang University of Technology. Cao Di serves as the deputy leader of the WG30 Working Group of the Information Technology Application Innovation Working Committee. He is also a member of the Professional Committee of Natural Computing and Digital Intelligent City under the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence or CAAI, and a specialist at the Zhejiang Provincial Defense Technology Achievement Transformation Center. He was formerly the director of the Program Department of the China Scholarship Council.
Throughout his career, Cao Di has made notable contributions. He has published over 10 research papers, applied for 10 invention patents, and obtained more than 20 software copyrights. Additionally, he has led and participated in various projects, one funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, one by the Jiangsu Provincial Postdoctoral Fund, and one by the Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Program. He has successively led and participated in the leading projects of 5213 Talents Plan launched by Xiaoshan Municipality, Hangzhou and the Huai’an Elite Plan by Jiangsu Province. Moreover, he has contributed to the formulating of industry standards, including the Technical Requirements for Intelligent Highway Roadside Equipment Pole Sharing and Scalable Biometric Recognition Data Exchange Format.
